Academy Ballroom Marietta may use your personal information like name, email, or phone number to reach out to you for a business review or survey. We use these reviews and surveys to make our business better, address any potential issues you may have, and for marketing to our other customers.

This policy also covers how we collect and use data through our website, booking system, payment processing, and other third-party tools used to operate our business.

  • Booking and scheduling information when you use our online booking system

USE OF FEEDBACK AND REVIEWS

When one of our customers writes a review, that review becomes available for external publication and could appear within our website or other marketing material. Reviews displayed on our website will include your first name and last initial, date of the review, number of stars you have given us, and the review itself. If the review is left on an external source like Google or Facebook, their privacy policy and information gathering will be in effect.

BOOKING AND PAYMENTS

We use Mindbody for online class scheduling, booking, and membership management. When you book a class or create an account through our website, your information is collected and stored by Mindbody directly. Their privacy policy governs how that data is handled and can be reviewed at mindbodyonline.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Payments are processed through Square and Mindbody. We do not store or have access to your payment card details. That information is handled directly by those processors and is governed by their respective privacy policies. Both Square and Mindbody adhere to PCI-DSS standards for secure handling of payment data.

CONTACT FORMS

If you submit a contact form on our website, the information you provide, including your name, email, and message, is sent directly to us and used only to respond to your inquiry. We do not share this information with third parties.

WEBSITE ANALYTICS AND COOKIES

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous data about how visitors use our website. The following guidelines are provided to help you write a better review:

  • Make the review objective, useful, and informative. Be specific to give the reader a feel for your experience.
  • Write about the kind of information you would want when asking a friend or coworker for a recommendation.
  • Did the experience meet your expectations? Would you go back? Would you recommend this business?
  • Keep it short and to the point. Write short sentences that stick to the highlights of your experience.
  • The recommended length for a review is 100 to 250 words.
